The SkyScreamer, a 200-foot tall open air swing at Six Flags Fiesta Texas that whirls riders around at 40 mph, won’t be open until May, but it reached a milestone this week when its top fixture was set in place.
The new ride, which Six Flags already has installed at its parks in Vallejo, Calif. and St. Louis, promises to give visitors a panoramic view of San Antonio along with high-speed entertainment. Exactly when it will open has not been disclosed, but the park is open on weekends until daily summer operations begin May 23. It also will be open this Thursday and Friday before Easter.
